As Trion’s Voluntary Benefits Practice Leader, Rob directs all activities related to Voluntary Benefits for clients including product development, carrier relations, strategic innovation, client communication and enrollment. Products include traditional voluntary programs such as Life, Disability and Critical Illness as well as other programs such as Limited Medical Plans, ID Theft Insurance and Legal Programs.
A 21-year industry veteran, Rob holds a Certified Enrollment Specialist certification and a degree in Actuarial Science. Also, Rob is certified in Health & Welfare Plans through the American Society of Pension Actuaries. He is on the faculty at Lorman Education and is a Risk Management Capstone Course student advisor at Temple University, his alma mater.
He also serves as an Executive Board Member for the Workplace Benefits Association and is the association’s 2010 President-Elect. Rob was featured on the cover of the Benefits Selling Magazine, June 2007 edition, has a chapter published in the book, Worksite Marketing: A Promise to Deliver – How to Turn Voluntary Benefits Into Visible Results titled, “Critical Illness Insurance: Coverage That Can Save Your Life,” and has been quoted in many leading industry publications. Rob also is active in his community on several aspects.
He is a 3-time elected official in his township serving as a Fire Commissioner and is Vice Chairman and Commissioner of the State of New Jersey’s First Responders Joint Insurance Fund. Rob is involved in the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
