As head of International Business Alaana has the strategic and operational responsibility for international development with the overall aim to grow the BMI Healthcare's presence in the well-established overseas healthcare market and promote BMI as an obvious choice to those seeking treatment abroad.

Alaana has a background in business development having joined BMI from Create Healthcare who provide marketing and business development services to the healthcare sector. At Create Healthcare she was responsible for both Create’s and her clients’ strategic direction, her portfolio included Aspen Healthcare, Nuffield and The NHS amongst others.

Previously she was responsible for marketing at Rombourne property developers and has a track record of delivering successful campaigns for blue chip clients such as Sky, The PGA and Ecco.
