Brad is the Managing Consultant for the South African Marsh Risk Consulting Practice. Brad acts as head of the Marsh EMEA Health Risk Consulting with responsibilities throughout Africa, the Middle East and Europe. In Brad’s role as Managing Consultant, he is accountable for the performance of the Employee Benefit related initiatives, property risk consulting, business continuity and environmental consulting practices. Brad is responsible for team leadership and has responsibility for the delivery of risk engineering surveys, business continuity management plans and enterprise risk management consulting primarily in the health, telecommunications and energy sectors. |

Brad has 15 years health risk consulting experience with 10 years experience in the risk engineering, business continuity and enterprise risk managementdisciplines.
Brad is a business strategist and risk analyst. He specializes in behavioural economics using his expertise to design sustainable risk analysis solutions and services to enhance performance and productivity within organisations. He combines product design and development proficiency with practical management information methodologies to manage the impact of internal and external risks on all aspects of business practice.
As a specialist consultant Brad combines entrepreneurial innovation with sound business principles to create sustainable risk management solutions within competitive markets. Brad draws on his experience in project risk management within the financial and consulting, employee benefits, public and private health, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, transport and telecommunications sectors.
Brad provides integrated risk management solutions in Enterprise Risk Management, Business Continuity Management and Risk Engineering consulting for diverse industries including Insurers, Universities, National Oil Companies, Telecommunication providers and Financial institutions.
Custom designed intellectual property management and human capital management programmes have been developed by Brad for ABSA and Nedbank (financial institutions), Dimension Data (Information Technology) and Transnet (a State Owned Enterprise). Brad developed the Employee Assistance Programme toolkit for the Services Seta in South Africa.
He has implemented successful project based enterprise health risk programmes in diverse organisations including State Owned Enterprise and Private sectors including Netcare Private Hospitals, Transnet, Compass Group, ABSA and Nedbank, South African Bureau of Standards, and Dimension Data. These programmes included risk control reviews of existing facilities, human capital risk assessments and the development of business continuity plans addressing health risks. Most recently Brad has been responsible for the development of the Enterprise Health Risk management programmes in Belgium, France, Germany and the Netherlands.
He has developed the Health Risk Index and South African Sick Leave Index. These Indexes have been presented locally and at the European Conference on Health Economics. He is a contributing author to the South African Health Review on the role of Private and other non Governmental organisations in Primary Health.
