Gary McGeddy is the Executive Vice President of the Accident & Health division of Fairmont Specialty.  He has served in varying executive Underwriting positions in both an insurance and reinsurance capacity throughout his career beginning at AIG, followed by positions at Swiss Re, Reliance National and Legion Insurance prior to his current position beginning in March 2000.  He has been an industry speaker and author on topics ranging from managed care to alternative risk transfer arrangements. 

Mr. McGeddy brings almost 20 years of experience in the Accident & Health arena.  He and his staff of 40 manage a growing and varied portfolio of business of approximately $200 million in premium in the following lines:  Employer Stop Loss, provider Excess, HMO Reinsurance, College Accident & Sickness, K-12 Student Accident, College Sports, Blanket Special Risk, Travel, Organ Transplant, Limited Medical, Short Term Medical and Pet Insurance.
