Leslie Steven (“Les”) Rothenberg is an ethicist/ethics consultant, attorney, and Professor Emeritus of Clinical Medicine in the Department of Medicine of the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He has thirty years of clinical and administrative experience in healthcare ethics, having assisted patients, families, physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, hospital administrators, medical groups, private healthcare companies, and governmental organizations in addressing ethical issues across a wide variety of patient settings. He initiated and led ethics consulting and teaching programs at a major American academic medical center and also at one of the largest not-for-profit U.S. health plans serving over 8.5 million subscribers nationally with more than 160,000 employees and annual revenues exceeding $40 billion. He also has experience in hospital administration and corporate compliance.
