Mr. Montague joined Kahn in 1979 as a project architect with advanced degree work in Environmental Psychology. In his current role as Senior Vice President and Kahn’s Chief Strategic Officer, he serves as an invaluable visionary and resource for staff across the Albert Kahn Family of Companies. Building upon his passion for the relationship of environment to human health and performance, he is currently spearheading the establishment of a formal health care evidence based design research component for the Albert Kahn Family of Companies.  As President of Kahn Global Services, Inc., a subsidiary of Kahn, his efforts have led the firm to expand their services to include Facility Management, Commissioning and Strategic Facility Planning.  With over 30 years of experience at Kahn, Mr. Montague has repeatedly demonstrated an impressive leadership capability, moving Kahn into a position of expertise on sustainability issues. Recently, Mr. Montague conducted a webinar for Planetree affiliates entitled ‘Sustainable Design Considerations for Patient Wellbeing’.  He also presented “Supporting the Environment: A Sustainable Vision for Patient Center Care” in Amsterdam, Netherlands.  Last year at Corporate EcoForum Mr. Montague was part of the panel for ‘ ROI Successes: Buildings, Facilities and Office Practices’.  Mr. Montague is coauthor of a patent pending ‘Sustainable Capitalization Tool’ that assists corporations in prioritizing capital investments on sustainable initiatives while contributing to the strategic intent and economic bottom- line.
